RedBird Simulator

Per FAA regulations, instrument pilots can use our simulator to maintain instrument currency without a certified flight instructor.

College Park Airport has a Redbird© MCX full-motion simulator that is available for use following a short training session. The Redbird© MCX provides a full motion, two seat simulation experience with either a full glass cockpit (Garmin G1000) fixed gear aircraft or a steam gauge retractable. Dual controls allow an instructor to demonstrate maneuvers and deliver flight instruction to a student.

$80.00/hour. Call us at 301-864-5844 to reserve a time.

Public TRansportation

College Park Airport is a short walk of less than ten minutes from the College Park-University of Maryland Metro Station. At this station, visitors can ride the Green Line into downtown D.C in approximately 25 minutes, at a cost of approximately $5 each way.
